The Great British Beauty Clean Up Partners with MYGroup

Sustainable Beauty Coalition’s Great British Beauty Clean Up returns in 2026 focusing on Recycling, Refill, and Reuse. Returning on 2 March 2026, ‘The Great British Beauty Clean Up’ (GBBCU) is expanding its remit to further help businesses of all sizes to recycle those hard to dispose of items often used across our industry both by consumers, and professional service providers.

With the aim to increase recycling and repurposing of waste, a core goal of this year’s initiative, the British Beauty Council has partnered with MYGroup, a waste management innovator, to launch a co-branded recycling box. The programme champions “zero-landfill” and “zero-incineration” solutions for hard-to-recycle items like compacts, mascara tubes, and pumps and hazardous items such as used hair foils. With items being transformed into new materials such as school furniture and building supplies.

And this year, your brand or business can be part of the change.

By purchasing a take-back box for your office, salon or shop, you can help tackle this issue in the UK – ensuring hard-to-recycle items are repurposed, reducing waste and landfill.
