The Great British Beauty Clean Up 2026
Returning for the second year, The Great British Beauty Clean Up will call on the beauty industry to ‘clean up its act’ and fundamentally rethink its relationship with waste. In 2026, the initiative is encouraging brands to engage with reuse and refill systems, prevent stock from going to landfill and recycle empties – all whilst educating consumers.
In 2025, the initiative reached more than 160m people with more than 50 businesses committing, these included John Lewis, Cult Beauty, Josh Wood Colour and others.
