The appointments come as the Council builds on another significant year for the sector. According to the Council’s most recent Value of Beauty report, compiled by Oxford Economics, the beauty industry generated £28.3 billion for the UK economy in 2025 and contributed £8.8 billion in tax revenues, while also supporting more than 595,000 jobs across manufacturing, retail, beauty services, wellness and aesthetics. The report also highlights the growing legislative and regulatory challenges facing beauty businesses.
The Advisory Board appointments include:
- Anabel Kingsley – Brand President and Consultant Trichologist, Philip Kingsley
- Dr Raj Arora – NHS GP, Medical Director
- Dr Uliana Gout – Founder, London Aesthetic Medicine
- Keeks Reid – Beauty Director, Cosmopolitan UK (*appointed to the Media Advisory Board)
- Mark Moloney – Managing Director, Trades Exhibitions
- Rupert Daniels – Founder and CEO
Together, the new appointments bring expertise spanning government, healthcare, trichology, aesthetics, professional beauty, business and entrepreneurship. Their combined experience will provide valuable insight across the Council’s strategic priorities, helping to inform its industry advocacy, policy work and initiatives while ensuring the voice and needs of businesses and professionals across the beauty sector are represented.

These appointments strengthen our ability to advocate for the industry, drive growth and ensure our work reflects the challenges and opportunities facing beauty businesses today.’
Alongside advisory board appointments, the Council has continued to strengthen its network of Patrons, recently welcoming innovative beauty tech leader Shark Beauty, Palmer’s – one of the nation’s favourite bodycare brands – and COSRX, the first K-Beauty Patron of the Council.
The Council also looks ahead to British Beauty Week (12-25 October 2026), the annual nationwide flagship celebration of the industry. This year shining a spotlight on the social, cultural and economic impact of the UK’s beauty industry.
