The Creator Collective / Skin School is a science-backed education programme designed to tackle misinformation online.
With an increasing number of people seeking beauty advice online, the initiative sets out to educate influencers and key opinion leaders on the fundamentals of skincare to ensure they are sharing correct advice.
No7 Beauty Company has been working with the Council on the development of the Creator Collective / Skin School since 2022. To date, three cohorts of leading influencers have completed the programme.
In 2025, the programme was made open-source. Everyone can now access easy-to-understand resources by enrolling in Skin School modules.
No7 Beauty Company and the Council are still engaging with specific influencers via an extended education programme.
The Fundamentals of Skin – By Mike Bell and Alice Hart-Davis
The Uniqueness of Skin – By Claire O’Connor and Dija Ayodele
Skin Health – By Dr Victoria Newton and Alison Young
Skin Ageing– By Dr Mike Bell and Alice Hart-Davis
Skin Protection & The Sun – By Claire O’Connor and Dija Ayodele
Tween Skincare – By Dr Emma Wedgeworth and Joely Walker
‘Starting social media at the age of 17, and not having any prior skincare education, meant that I was recommending thoughts rather than facts. Luckily, I took part in the Creator Collective / Skin School when I was 18 so I quickly learnt how to correctly use products and understand certain formulations. After completing the course, I felt more confident to give honest reviews so it was definitely a great opportunity to make my content more credible!’
