With the launch of our new pillar; Investment, Innovation & Technology, both leading industry experts will be pivotal in the development of the work of the British Beauty Council.
Woodall has become synonymous with the British fashion and beauty industries via her recognisable work across popular culture, most recently as the founder and CEO of Trinny London, now one of Europe’s fastest-growing beauty brands.
On her appointment, she said: ‘The power of beauty is limitless. At Trinny London, everything starts with emotional connection – and no industry is as deeply personal and connected as beauty. We are thrilled to be part of an organisation that uplifts British beauty founders and the wider community, and proud to represent British beauty on the global stage.’
Diner is one of the highest respected beauty commentators, holding a Global role for the Vogue brand. She has become part of the fabric of Vogue having been at the publishing house since 2007. Her long history in editorial means she holds unique expertise and a holistic awareness of the beauty industry.
‘I have long been a supporter of Millie and her team at the British Beauty Council’s incredible work from the sidelines and it’s a huge honour to now officially come into the fold. Championing the excellence of the people and the brands within the beauty industry has always been a priority for Vogue and we look forward to working with the Council to further amplify and nurture its growth,’ said Jessica Diner.
On their appointment, Millie Kendall OBE, CEO of the British Beauty Council said: ‘I am delighted that two industry powerhouses are joining our esteemed board of Ambassadors. I am delighted that my team and I can tap into their knowledge and insights as we navigate our next roadmap, and we can work together to continue to raise the reputation of the industry.’
