The British Beauty Council is delighted to announce that iconic model and actress, Jerry Hall, and model and beauty founder, Georgia May Jagger, have been appointed as official ambassadors for British Beauty Week 2025
Taking place from 20 – 26 October 2025, this year’s British Beauty Week explored the theme ‘The Future of Beauty’, celebrating innovation and creativity across the UK’s beauty industry. As ambassadors, Hall and Jagger will help to raise the awareness and reputation of the British beauty industry.
A legendary figure in fashion and culture, Jerry Hall has long embodied timeless glamour and self-expression. Her daughter, Georgia May Jagger, brings her own perspective as the founder of the skincare brand May Botanicals. Named the British Beauty Council’s Wellbeing Ambassador earlier this year, Jagger advocates for a more mindful and inclusive approach to beauty.
Together, Hall and Jagger represent the multi-generational influence of British beauty, highlighting the importance of honouring heritage while embracing innovation and the future of the industry. Hall echos this, saying: ‘I am honoured to join the British Beauty Council as an ambassador for British Beauty Week, especially alongside my daughter, Georgia May.
‘Beauty – the products, the makeup artists, hair stylists – has been intrinsic to my career, in fact it’s provided the very essence of my work. From signature looks to countless magazine covers, beauty has acted as the foundation of my professional identity and enabled me to tell a story through photographs.
‘I am continuously inspired by the intergenerational nature of this sector. I was learning beauty tips from my own mother, and now I’ve had the joy of watching my daughters forge their own incredible paths. It’s this creativity that I want to champion this British Beauty Week.’
Millie Kendall OBE, CEO of the British Beauty Council, said: ‘We are delighted to call Jerry and Georgia this year’s British Beauty Week Ambassadors, expanding on Georgia May’s role as Wellbeing Ambassador. Not only has beauty been intrinsic to both of their careers, but it has also defined their identities – showcasing the intersection between beauty and fashion, as well as the intergenerational power of our industry.’
‘For me, beauty has always been more than just makeup or hair, it’s been a powerful source of self-expression and confidence. From being on set to founding my own brand, beauty and the people that work in it have been incredibly influential in my life.
‘The British beauty sector is a powerhouse and this British Beauty Week is all about celebrating them and their futures. I am delighted to be working with the Council to ensure our industry is not as frivolous, but as a vital part of our culture, our confidence, and our economy,’ concluded Jagger.
