Natural Tendrils invites you to Know Your Hair, an interactive experience where textured hair education meets beauty technology.
At the heart of the activation is Lekwa Ntùtù, the new book by founder Daisy Emenike, a natural hair education guide exploring hair, identity, culture, business and everything in between. Through personal stories, natural hair education and reflections on the wider world of beauty, it explores what it means to understand and care for textured hair while navigating the culture, expectations and business surrounding it. Ask the author questions, and take home your own copy.
Alongside the book, experience the Curl Scanner, a free-to-try web app that helps you understand your own hair in minutes. Answer a few simple questions about your hair’s look and feel, strand thickness and scalp condition, and receive personalised guidance based on your results. The book gives you the knowledge; the Curl Scanner helps you apply it to your own hair.
There will also be exclusive Lekwa Ntùtù merch available on the day, so come ready to join the movement.
Drop in, scan your curls, meet the founder, and chat with us about personalised haircare and how technology can make beauty more inclusive. Everyone is welcome, whether you have textured hair, work in beauty, create content, or are simply curious about the future of beauty tech. Refreshments will be provided, and it promises to be a wonderful time.
