Government Energy Survey: Complete today to protect the beauty industry

by | Oct 13, 2022

You’ve probably completed more Cost of Living surveys in the last few months than you can count on two hands.

But, trust us, this Government Energy Survey matters the most if you want to ensure continued support for the beauty industry when the initial Energy Relief Scheme comes to an end on 31 March 2023

Put together by The Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), the 10-15 minute Government Energy Survey asks you about your energy usage over the last 12 months, cost mitigation and the increase in the price of your bills.

So, it is imperative that you complete this form in as much detail as possible. Gather your energy and gas statements and share everything you can before midnight on Monday 30th October.

Some of the questions in the survey are a little tricky, so here are some tips for answering the questions:

1. When you reach question 1.2, make sure you use the correct SIC Code:
9602 – Hairdressing & other Beauty Treatment
9604 – Physical well-being activities
4645 – Wholesale of perfume and cosmetics
4775: retail sale of cosmetic and toilet articles in specialised stores

2. Unsure what to say for part 1.3? Please ensure you write personal care.

3. Are you stuck or do you have any other questions? Email us and a member of the team will help you complete your submission.

Not a business owner? Share the survey

Clean towels, robes, hot water, and continual airflow through air conditioning systems are all becoming increasingly expensive. As a result, the beauty industry is being hit hard by the energy crisis. So, we need your help to spread the word about a survey.
