Who is Britain’s next makeup star?

BBC Three’s third series of Glow Up returns to BBC iPlayer from 7pm on Tuesday 20th April.

Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star launched in 2019 with host Stacey Dooley, and industry legends Val Garland and Dominic Skinner as judges. In the programme, ten aspiring make-up artists battle it out to be named Britain’s next make-up star and to win a contract assisting some of the world’s top make-up artists.

For the third series of Glow Up, Maya Jama joins resident judges Dominic and Val, as host; the trio will be welcome an array of guest judges and experts from across the worlds of beauty, TV, music and fashion, including:

  • Ateh Jewel, award-winning beauty journalist and trail-blazing diversity campaigner
  • Sherri Laurence, Emmy award-winner and make-up department head on Pose
  • Les Child, choreographer and voguing pioneer
  • Cate Hall, lead hair and make-up designer on The Crown
  • Abby Roberts, TikTok’s biggest make-up star
  • Vanessa Spence, ASOS design director
  • Loz Schiavo, Bafta-winning make-up designer on Peaky Blinders
  • Rankin, globally-renowned photographer and director
  • Jonas Blue, DJ and music producer
  • Awa, singer
  • Lisa Eldridge, one of the world’s leading make-up artists

 

 

You can watch Glow Up on BBC iPlayer from Tuesday 20th April at 7pm. Episode one will also be broadcast to BBC One at 22:45 on Tuesday, except in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
