What do symbols in beauty packaging mean?

British Beauty Council spotted a great story in British Vogue on what the symbols in beauty packaging actually mean.

Among those they’ve decoded for readers are the Green Dot, an interlocking arrow trademark which shows a company who partners with a recycling & recovery scheme on packaging waste, the E Mark, which shows the net contents of a cosmetic product in grams or millilitres, the PAO Symbol, which demonstrates shelf-life, and the Leaping Bunny Logo, which shows that no new animal tests have been used in the development of the product.
