The Power of a Haircut: Support Haircuts4Homeless this festive season

by | Nov 10, 2025

The British Beauty Council would like to spotlight Haircuts4Homeless, a charity offering free haircuts to people experiencing homelessness. As we approach the festive season, please consider making a charitable donation to Haircuts4Homeless.

Understanding the confidence boost that a haircut can bring, this charity champions the power of our industry in transforming people’s confidence, mental health, and wellbeing.

Before dedicating his time to ensuring that everyone has access to a great haircut, Stewart Roberts was a salon owner for 30 years. During this time, he learned how sitting in a hairdresser’s chair can work wonders not only for your hair but for your mental health, too. We all know that hairdressers are some of the best communicators, and a haircut gives people experiencing homelessness the attention they deserve.

“It may be just a haircut, but it’s the kindness shown that makes a homeless person know that people really care.”
