THE BRITISH BEAUTY COUNCIL TEAMS UP WITH GLAMOUR TO HOST THE BIG BEAUTY QUIZ

Get ready for a beauty showdown on Thursday 7 May at 7pm GMT, as The British Beauty Council and GLAMOUR Magazine are joined by renowned beauty experts as they go head to head to raise funds for the NHS.

Led by GLAMOUR’s Entertainment Director Josh Smith as quiz master, our fantastic contestants include:

  • Caroline Hirons, Global Skincare Expert & Author
  • Josh Wood, International Hair Colourist & Salon Owner
  • Jules Von Hep, Celebrity Tanner & Isle of Paradise Founder
  • Lisa Potter-Dixon, Makeup Artist & Beauty Author
  • Sam McKnight, World Renowned Hair Stylist
  • Sharmadean Reid MBE, Beauty Entrepreneur & Beautystack Founder
  • The Plastic Boy, Makeup Artist, Blogger & Content Creator.

Being beauty fanatics and gurus, the virtual quiz will of course be entirely beauty-themed. Our contestants will battle it out over the course of 45 minutes to answer a series of beauty related questions, and with only 10 seconds to answer each the competition will be fierce. Think a modern-day version of Celebrity Squares, but with more contour and red lipstick!

Our British Beauty Council CEO, Millie Kendall MBE comments: “I remember as a child the TV show Celebrity Squares and thought how great it would be to have a Big Beauty Quiz with some of our industry’s most influential insiders. The Big Beauty Quiz promises to offer fun, education and a fundraising opportunity in support of our NHS. We chose to partner with GLAMOUR magazine because of their ongoing commitment and passion for the beauty industry.”

Get your front row ticket for £5, with all money raised going to the NHS Covid-19 Urgent Appeal. And it doesn’t stop with the contestants; Josh will be inviting the audience to get involved to be in with a chance to win some incredible beauty prizes!

British Beauty Council Advisory Board member and Global Skincare Expert & Author, Caroline Hirons will be a contestant

GLAMOUR Editor-in-Chief, Deborah Joseph adds: We’re so excited to be working with The British Beauty Council on The Big Beauty Quiz. As a beauty-first brand, GLAMOUR supports and celebrates the immense contribution it makes to our economy, daily. We thought this would be a fantastic opportunity to have fun with some of the biggest names in the beauty business while raising money for our inimitable NHS.”
