PZ Cussons committed to reduce plastic consumption 25% by 2025

by | Nov 15, 2018

British Beauty Council reads that PZ Cussons have announced new plastic consumption and deforestation targets in order to meet its 2020 No Deforestation / No Peat / No Exploitation (NDPE) commitments on palm oil.

Which, in beauty, is often found in shampoo and particularly in lipstick because it holds colour pigment well, has no taste and doesn’t melt at high temperatures.

As well as reducing its plastic use, the company will ensure its remaining plastic is reusable, recyclable or compostable.

PZ Cussons has already significantly reduced its plastic use as part of its Good 4 Business Strategy (G4B) and will be removing all single use plastics from its Manchester Head Quarters.
