by | Apr 19, 2021

INFRINGE Magazine spoke with Nick Irwin ahead of the reopening of personal care in England.

“Our friends at the British Beauty Council have been working tirelessly, lobbying for government support for the personal care sector. Some of the successes the Council and other industry bodies have achieved include the extensions to the Self-Employed Income Support Scheme which positively affects the 60% of all hairdressing and barbering employees who are self-employed, as well as the industry being eligible for the maximum Restart Fund. To promote and celebrate the reopening of hair and beauty services on April 12th, the British Beauty Council has partnered with M&C Saatchi Group, creating the #OhHelloBeauty campaign which will run on social media channels and in mainstream print publications throughout the spring and summer to encourage customers back into salons.”
