Help Centrepoint collect beauty gifts for homeless youth this Christmas

by | Nov 17, 2022

The UK’s leading homelessness charity needs your help!

For the 20th Christmas, Centrepoint is collecting beauty, hair and wellness products for more than 500 homeless young people across London. The team is asking for your help to ensure that the young residents of Centrepoint’s hostels receive a fabulous gift.

Centrepoint works with its partners to support more than 14,000 homeless young people each year. The charity provides accommodation, mental health support and life skills to get vulnerable young people back into education, training and employment.

Due to their hard work, 94 per cent of young people stay at Centrepoint for up to two years, then move into their own homes, reconnect with their families, get their first jobs or go to university.

As we approach the festive period, why not donate beauty and wellness products and give a homeless young person a gift? It will probably be the only present they receive this year.

For the first time in three years, Centrepoint’s beauty packers will be boxing up your donations in-person. So, it’s time to send what you can.

Here’s how to donate:

  1. Donations should be made in multiples of 50. Check and count your available stock.
  2. E-mail Amy to notify the team what, and how many units, you are sending.
  3. Deliver to:
    Frances Wright
    Centrepoint Camberwell
    90 Denmark Hill
    London
    SE5 8RX

Please note, the deadline for delivery is 9th December 2022. The ‘festive elves’ are packing on 15th.

Any kits or sets that you can send is truly appreciated by everyone.
