Who are By Sarah London?Â
By Sarah London is a small business with a big heart, founded by sisters, Sarah and Lauren Murrell.
When Lauren was recovering from a life threatening form of leukaemia, many months of intensive cancer treatment left her skin incredibly sensitive and would often shed like a snake. Sarah, having spent many years at Estee Lauder, Unilever and L’Oreal, and with her childhood passion for skincare, began to formulate skincare to help revive and restore Lauren’s skin. Those original formulas were shared with friends and family until the stars aligned in November 2017 and the sisters launched By Sarah London together. Sarah’s original formulas filled with love are now our multi award-winning skincare collection at bysarahlondon.com.
What areas of the British beauty industry excite you most?
There is so much creativity and innovation that it’s such an exciting time to be in beauty! From our UK-grown upcycled hemp seed oil in our Blemish Recovery Oil, to our prebiotic, biome-friendly formulations, our 360 approach to innovation has sustainability at its core. Why did you want to become a Patron of the British Beauty Council?
We are so proud to be Patrons of the British Beauty Council and play an active role in supporting their mission to bring positive change to the beauty industry. Championing the incredible work of a non-profit organisation with such a strong purpose is important to us. Understanding, encouraging and championing proactive change in beauty is at the heart of our By Sarah London DNA and we can’t wait to support the fantastic initiatives the British Beauty Council has for the year ahead across sustainability, inclusivity, wellbeing – and more!
