This weekend, the British Beauty Council is joining Treatwell for an exclusive event at Salon International. Do you have your tickets?

Get ready to spend your weekend with fellow beauty industry innovators. From the 8th to the 10th of October, leaders from the professional beauty world will flood London’s ExCel for Salon International. There will be opportunities to shop the latest product launches, watch inspirational trend presentations and learn from the best in business.

Treatwell, the UK’s leading booking platform, is collaborating with the British Beauty Council on this year’s activation. On top of launching its brand new programme Treatwell Pro, the team will be joined by members of the Council for a panel talk called ‘Innovation and technology in the Hair and Beauty Industry’.

Miranda Matthews Managing Director of Treatwell UK&I will be taking to the Treatwell stage (U160) at Salon International at 13:30 to learn more about the Council’s history and main objectives. The panel talk will also explore how the industry must collaborate to innovate and future-proof to survive the coming months.

Treatwell Pro, the company’s newest innovation, is designed to help salon owners organise their bookings more easily. The product of a merger with Uala – a booking app which gained traction in Southern Europe – Treatwell Pro expands the company’s reach into Italy, France and Spain. Treatwell thus confirms itself as the leader in the digitised management of salons.

In light of this technological growth, the brand is harnessing its growing network of salon owners to push the government for greater support for the rising cost of gas and electricity. Working with the British Beauty Council, Treatwell has put together an accessible and quick-to-complete survey designed to get real data on the costs of running a business directly from the people in the thick of it.

We need new data to show the Government why the personal care sector needs support on bills when the current relief scheme ends in April 2023. With continued government support, we can continue to innovate in uncertain times. So, do your bit today to help us help you.
