by | Dec 19, 2021

Beauty Banks founders Sali Hughes and Jo Jones have been named in You Magazine’s ‘The 21 Most Extraordinary Women of 2021’.

You Magazine’s Most Extraordinary Women are those who have brought joy, hope and empowerment to our lives. Those listed include Emma Raducanu, Celia Pool, Nimco Ali and Mika Simmons, and Anya Hindmarch.

Sali and Jo have been crowned Extraordinary because of their work with Beauty Banks, which is “giving millions their dignity back”.

“It’s not just about soap. It’s providing people with dignity, self-respect and confidence. When Covid hit, it became a matter of safety, too. Our focus this year has been on servicing the demand, which has increased fourfold.”

– Jo Jones

Congratulations to all of those who have been named as this year’s most Extraordinary Women!
