Do you have what it takes to be a British Beauty Council Mentor?
The Council welcomes dynamic individuals and brand representatives, with job roles across STEM and business subjects, to take part in educational drop-ins. All it takes is one day a year to help young people choose the perfect career pathway and shape the future of the beauty industry.
Becoming a British Beauty Council Mentor is simple thanks to STEM Learning’s digital onboarding:
- Register online: Go to stem.org.uk/register and select STEM Ambassador.
- Complete the online induction:Â Find out what to expect from becoming a STEM Ambassador.
- Apply for a free DBS or PVG check: People working with young people must have hold one of these, you will be asked to provide references and complete an ID check at your local hub.
- Let schools know you’re a beauty specialist: Once you have a profile, it’s time to enrol specifically as a British Beauty Council Mentor. You can do this by adding ‘British Beauty Council – Future Talent Mentor’ under the ‘Schemes Participation’ tab in your profile. This handy guide shows you how.
