Hear Me, See Me: an evening of celebration

by | Mar 10, 2022

The best of British hairdressing turned out to celebrate the launch of ‘Hear Me See Me’, from Haircuts4Homeless on Wednesday night.

Since 2019, London-based photographer Jack Eames and session hairstylist Leigh Keates have been working alongside Haircuts4Homeless (H4H), joining founder Stewart Roberts in his sessions. With the express permission of the clients, Jack has been photographing the H4H guests, while Leigh has been documenting their spoken stories. Now, with an archive of beautiful portrait photographs and intimate quotes, Haircuts4Homeless is collaborating with both artists to release Hear Me, See Me, a large photographic coffee table book of their guests from these past two years.

Marking the launch, guests from across the industry attended the party at Teresa Tarmey’s Notting Hill skincare clinic, including Errol Douglas MBE, Adam Reed, Charlotte Mensah, Sam McKnight and Gina Conway.
