Operating at the Forefront of Sustainable Innovation: The Dissolvable Packaging Solution

by | Mar 14, 2022

British Beauty Council Patron, twelveNYC, have unveiled the latest development in sustainable packaging: the dissolvable bag, a sustainable solution which aims to eliminate plastic from packaging and the supply chain.

The biodegradable, non-toxic and compostable bags dissolve in hot water within seconds, and ultimately reduce the dependence on single-use plastic packaging. The bags are made of a water-soluble and biodegradable combination of Polyvinyl Alcohol (known as PVA), starch, glycerine, and water. They are environmentally safe, compliant, and leave no micro-plastics behind, and can also be branded and customised by the team at twelveNYC.
