GLAMOUR Power List Awards 2020

The GLAMOUR Power List Awards 2020 celebrates the ‘best-in-class beauty products, the brands who are embracing diversity and the inspirational beauty pros worth your follow’.

 

The nominees were selected by the GLAMOUR beauty team and a panel of experts. The panel include: makeup artist visionary Val Garland and celebrity makeup artist Naoko Scintu, hair stylists Charlotte Mensah, Larry King, Josh Wood and Patrick Wilson offered their hair care knowledge, and skin specialists Dr Ewoma Ukeleghe and Dija Ayodele – founder of the Black Skin Directory – helped decipher the best skincare solutions available to buy.

 

Each nomination on the shortlist was personally recommended and approved by one of the expert panellists, but it was down to the Glamour audience to decide the overall winners.

 

Winners include:

 

Bronzer: Hoola Matte Bronzer, £27, Benefit Cosmetics at Boots

 

Lipliner: Lip Cheat, £17, Charlotte Tilbury

 

Best newcomer: makeup: Victoria Beckham Beauty

 

Responsible/sustainable initiative: Lush

 

Physical exfoliant: Honey & Orange Facial Scrub, £18, Neal’s Yard Remedies

 

Volumiser: Cool Girl Barely There Texture Mist, £25, Hair By Sam McKnight at Cult Beauty

 

Skin influencer: Emma Hoareau

 

Hair artist/influencer: Jen Atkin

 

Makeup artist/ influencer: Jamie Genevieve

 

Nail artist/influencer: Imarni

 

Most inspirational founder: Rihanna – Fenty Beauty
