British Beauty Council has some cheery info for you during this summertime scorcher: Boots suncare brand Soltan surveyed 1000 parents with children aged 14 & under. The results proved that over half choose sunscreens based only on their sun protection factor (SPF). Parents admitted they don’t understand the significance of UVA & the deep, permanent damage these rays cause if sun creams with less than the 5*UVA protection are used. Soltan liken UVA damage to a tattoo, illustrating this on a child in a new ad campaign to promote their UV protection system.
