British Beauty Council Welcome Josh Wood to their Executive Board

The British Beauty Council is thrilled to announce that Josh Wood, the most sought-after colourist in the world, has joined the executive board, alongside founder and CEO Millie Kendall MBE, Chair Jane Boardman, CFO Ryan Woor, Director Gemma Bellman, Director Catherine Handcock, Director Annie Murphy and recently appointed Sharmadean Reid MBE.

On the appointment Josh has said: ‘As a colourist, brand founder and business owner, I’m passionate about this world-leading, innovative and creative industry. Thanks to my thirty year career, I am fully aware of its power to make us all feel good, and this is amplified for all to see in these current, challenging times. I am committed to working with the British Beauty Council to help support this industry as it moves forward, and develop the exceptional talent it represents.’

The British Beauty Council’s ambition is to ensure that the beauty industry is recognised and valued at all levels of government, throughout the wider economy and by consumers, and created their Value of Beauty report as a forward march in this direction – showcasing the beauty industry’s true value.

The council have also prepared their Road Map of activity for 2020 and we plan to continue to raise the reputation of the beauty industry by enhancing education and investing in innovation.
