The British Beauty Council is thrilled to announce that Sharmadean Reid MBE has joined the executive board, alongside founder and CEO Millie Kendall, Chair Jane Boardman, CFO Ryan Woor, Director Gemma Bellman, Director Catherine Handcock and Director Annie Murphy.

On the appointment Sharmadean has said:

“I joined British Beauty Council because as a small business owner myself I think it is important to have an industry body that represents this incredibly creative and entrepreneurial workforce, I believe in the values of the British Beauty Council and I think that by tackling and supporting the issues around innovation, education and reputation the beauty industry will even further contribute to the growing British economy.”

At the British Beauty Council our ambition is to ensure that the beauty industry is recognised and valued at all levels of government, throughout the wider economy and by consumers, and we created our Value of Beauty report as a forward march in this direction – showcasing the beauty industry’s true value.

We have also prepared our Road Map of activity for 2020 and we plan to continue to raise the reputation of the beauty industry by enhancing education and investing in innovation. For details on what is happening in 2020 and how brands and industry professionals can get involved please contact:
