Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Anna Sweeting collaborate on new investment platform, The Equity Studio

by | Mar 27, 2024

Entrepreneur and investor Anna Sweeting has launched a new investment platform The Equity Studio, alongside brand founder Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Designed to nurture ‘the next wave of consumer brands’, Sweeting  and Huntington-Whiteley have collaborated on The Equity Studio’s debut investment vehicle’.

Focused on finding brands that have exciting founder stories and that contribute to the cultural value of today, The Equity Studio is set to invest in brands across beauty, wellness and lifestyle.

Sweeting has extensive experience in the investment environment having co-founded the UK’s first female-led specialist investment fund Vaultier7. Backing the likes of Gisou, viral honey-infused skincare, and fashion brand Axel Arigato she has insight into some of the fastest-growing beauty and apparel brands.

Knowing the importance of cultural value when launching a successful brand, Sweeting has tapped into Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

‘Rosie is widely known for being a cultural catalyst, but what I have most admired is her astute ability to select and partner talent and brands ahead of the curve.

‘Having directly experienced how her powerful combination of influence and strategic creativity has sparked multiple viral moments for growing business, laying the foundation for sustainable businesses with stand-out economics over the long-term, I knew we had to build something together,’ said Sweeting.

The co-creators are supported by an industry-leading Board of beauty and fashion professionals, including British Beauty Council Chair, Meribeth Parker.

‘I see in real-time that capturing and holding the attention of consumers moving forward requires breaking free of tried-and-tested initiatives, collaborating with those with relevant audiences and moving into new possibilities,’ commented Parker, continuing: ‘Anna and Rosie are both visionaries in understanding these dynamics and are practically tailor-made for shaping this ever-evolving consumer landscape together.’

The Equity Studio will invest in brands that are in the early to mid-stages of their development across the UK, Europe and the US.
