Whilst aluminium foils are used extensively by hair and nail salons to create beautiful highlights or remove chemical product from the nails, they cannot be curb side recycled due to the chemicals left on the foils. Whilst aluminium itself is infinitely recyclable, this means that most used foils actually end up going to landfill.
