Hear Me, See Me – Podcast with Millie Kendall MBE

by | Mar 13, 2020

Hear Me, See Me is a podcast from Stewart Roberts, the founder of our affiliate Haircuts 4 Homeless. This podcast is all about some of the amazing people Stewart has met on his Haircuts4Homeless journey.

“This weeks podcast features Millie Kendall MBE, one of the strongest, kindest, funny and inspirational women I have had the pleasure of meeting. She is a real driving force in the beauty world.

Millie launched the Japanese make-up brand Shu Uemura, and went on to launch her namesake make-up brand Ruby & Millie with Ruby Hammer.

Then in 2012, she launched BeautyMART, with Anna-Marie Solowij as a unique beauty destination combining insider information with a great place to shop for trending beauty products.
She most recently helped form and grow the British Beauty Council which is bringing all aspects of the hair and beauty industries under one umbrella to highlight the importance of the beauty industry to the UK economy.

This is where our paths crossed when she invited me and Haircuts4Homeless to be an affiliate of the British Beauty Council, and has helped our charity no end ever since.

In our conversation she talks freely and openly about herself, the industry and her motivations in helping us at Haircuts4Homeless.” Stewart Roberts SRSH.
