The British Beauty Council is proud to present the inaugural British Beauty Festival in China, taking place in Shanghai in April 2026.
Partnering with the UK Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and Chrysalis Beauty, this milestone moment marks an exciting new chapter as the Festival brings the very best of British beauty and wellness to one of the world’s most dynamic and fast-evolving consumer markets. Designed to spotlight the innovation, creativity and diversity of the UK beauty sector, the Festival will serve as a gateway for British brands to connect with a highly engaged and sophisticated Chinese audience. As global demand for authentic, high-quality British beauty continues to grow, China stands at the forefront of this opportunity.
Participating names include Elemis, Neal’s Yard Remedies, Sarah Chapman, Skin Cycles, Votary, Wildsmith Skincare, Jo Malone London, Fortnum & Mason, Balmonds, Eve Lom, Noble Isle, Rosemary Hair Oil, MD:Ceuticals, Pixi, UKLash, Skin Cycles, Floris, Forest Spa Finland, Verden, 320MHz, Hair Laboratory, Nailberry and Shake Up.
The event, co-hosted by Chrysalis (Joyce Beauty’s mainland China licensee) and the UK’s Department for Business and Trade will be held across Shanghai, and will feature:
- Immersive Pop-Up Store in Jiuguang Department Store Plaza.
- Immersive Pop Up at Bicester Village.
- A Pop-Up Store at Lane Crawford.
- An Official Launch and Awards Gala Dinner.
The British Beauty Festival runs as part of the Shanghai International Beauty Festival, and as the country of honour the Festival will benefit from strong visibility, with inclusion in the official opening ceremony.
