Condé Nast College: Big Beauty Weekend

Condé Nast College, in association with the British Beauty Council, are launching ‘Big Beauty Weekend’ – two days of skincare, hair and make-up demos, panel talks, and masterclasses.

The weekend event is designed for anyone with an interest in the beauty industry, including the current issues and how to tackle them. The event will be beneficial to both, those who already have knowledge or experience of the industry, with a particular interest in ethics and sustainability, as well as complete beginners.

Saturday 12th June 

10:30am – WELCOME

10:45am – Energising meditation session, with Niki Schilling, Rituals 

11:05am – Social in publishing: gatekeeping a brand’s voice, with Chloe Lewis, Social Media Director, GLAMOUR

12:00pm – How to build a beauty empire, with Maria Hatzistefanis, CEO Rodial

12:30pm – Moving towards a sustainable beauty industry, with Jayn Sterland, Weleda, Sian Sutherland, A Plastic Planet, and Phil Cumming, Walgreens Boots Alliance

1:15pm – LUNCH

2:15pm – Brow masterclass with Benefit Cosmetics

3:00pm – In conversation with beauty photographer Claire Luxton 

3:45pm – Networking session

4:00pm – END OF DAY ONE
