Camilla Kay joins the Council’s leadership team as Director of Communications and Events. Formerly Executive Editor at Glamour UK, she will oversee digital communications, press and media relations and activations.
David MacDonald (Vice President, Sustainability & HR Business Planning at Walgreens) and the Council’s Talent Pillar President, has been appointed Ambassador for Men. He will drive the Council’s new focus in this area, spotlighting the power of personal care and grooming and its socio-economic impact on the beauty sector.
Jessica Hewitt, Global Head of Beauty & Wellness at UNiDAYS is now Education and Talent Pillar President, having made significant impact partnering on the Student Shadow Board Initiative.
Nicky Pope, Founder of Tribu-te and Colour World, has been appointed Hair Committee Chair. With an extensive background in the hairdressing and barbering sector, she will oversee the restructuring of the Committee to achieve the strategic goals.

The Council’s influential Advisory Board announces a new cohort of leading professionals across hair, makeup, skincare, PR and communications. These new appointments are: Aarti P, Barbara Daly, Camilla Craven, Gabriela Da Costa, James Brown, Maryam Zamani, Michael Douglas, Sophie Carbonari.
These developments across the Council’s network will help to propel its growth over the next year and beyond.
