Avon UK announces new charity partnership with Look Good Feel Better

by | Feb 4, 2020

This world cancer day we are pleased to celebrate the announcement of a new partnership between our patron, beauty company Avon UK and affiliate, leading cancer support charity Look Good Feel Better.

Look Good Feel Better is the only national cancer support charity dedicated to improving the physical and emotional wellbeing of people undergoing treatment to directly impact the lives of those diagnosed with cancer. Together, Avon and Look Good Feel better aim to help more women through their cancer journeys with Avon harnessing its substantial female audience.

The beauty giant will not only donate products to Look Good Feel Better’s wellbeing workshops but support these sessions through volunteer opportunities for Avon’s Representatives across the UK and its employees. Later in 2020 Avon and the charity will launch an exciting cause related marketing initiative with crucial funds being raised for Look Good Feel Better.

Here in the UK, Avon has supported the breast cancer cause since 1992 raising more than £20million for breast cancer charities thanks to the Avon Breast Cancer Promise.

Matthieu Comard, general manager of Avon UK commented; “I am so proud that Avon is joining forces with Look Good Feel Better to support women on their cancer journey.  Beauty is very powerful and its incredible to see the amazing workshops that Look Good Feel Better offer and that Avon can support the charity in growing awareness and support for these.

Ian Daniels, director of fundraising at Look Good Feel Better, added: “We are delighted to be partnering with Avon to raise vital funds, and we are extremely grateful for their support. Thanks to their efforts, we will continue to provide local support at over 140 locations nationally, providing a safe environment for shared experiences.”
