Celebrity facialist and Advisory Board member, Teresa Tarmey, is bringing her world-renowned, highly sought-after expertise, to the next generation of facialists in a newly launched training programme
Endorsed by CIBTAC, the programme is aiming to ‘cut through’ the current noise of cosmetology to teach ‘solid expertise that endures throughout the trends of the industry’.
With over 27 years of experience and more than 50,000 hours of hands-on-skin treatment, the ‘super facialist’ is offering a tailored curriculum in the hopes of resetting the bar in the facial sphere. She says: ‘There’s so much confusion in the industry right now, with some of the most effective treatments being overlooked completely.’
Teresa’s programme aims to change this by championing a return to basics, equipping participants with skills and techniques that are clinically rooted in real results. Mainly, this will involve a heavy focus on the mastering of needle extraction, an art that Tarmey feels has been lost due to heavy reliance on vacuum cleansing machines. She adds: ‘We have a whole generation who can’t properly extract… (yet) this is the basic foundation of a facial, or should be in my opinion.’
On top of its unique offering, students on the course will be able to connect with Teresa herself – she will be offering two rounds of the programme per month when it first launches, with a maximum of twelve students. As a result, the course promises intimate hands-on education in Teresa’s flagship store in Notting Hill, putting students straight into the clinic environment with expert supervision.
Beyond this, the previous global skincare expert of Dior, says she would ‘like to share (her) almost 28 years experience from running a business, launching skincare and stepping into other markets such as the US’, positioning this professional training course as an opportunity to learn about entrepreneurial strategies as well as cosmetological ones.
The Teresa Tarmey Education Programme will retail for £1,800 and will available to purchase online on her website from June 2025. You can find out more here.
