The British Beauty Council is pleased to welcome a new cohort of leaders from across the beauty industry to its Advisory Board.
Adding expertise in areas of virtual beauty, makeup for stage and screen and more, the new members will only serve to add to the Council’s existing esteemed network of board members.Â
The Council’s Advisory Board offers strategic insights to the organisation in order to propel cross-industry campaigns, policy change and awareness.Â
Following funding from UKRI via The Creative Catalyst Programme, Dr Alex Box – Beauty Futurist + founder of V-metics, the world’s first virtual cosmetic software – will join the board, alongside Lyn Harris, British Perfumer; Academy and BAFTA Award winning Hair & Makeup Designer, Nadia Stacey and Founder of Pall Mall Barbers, Richard Marshall.Â
Professor Sandeep Ranote, Medical Director and Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, will also join the Council’s Advisory Board to aid the organisation’s work in areas of self-esteem, mental health and representation.Â
On the new appointments, Millie Kendall OBE, CEO of the British Beauty Council says: ‘We are pleased to welcome a new group of beauty professionals on board as the Council gears up to enter its next roadmap. The industry leaders are vital to our ongoing engagement with the nuanced areas of our industry and provide us with unique insight into the true challenges and opportunities facing our sector.’Â
Alongside additions to its Advisory Board, the Council is also launching its new Media Advisory Board which brings together professionals from across the beauty publishing environment to reinforce the collective influence of beauty communications in the UK.Â
With experts from traditional print media to digital content creation, the Media Advisory Board boasts unique insights, reach, and impact which is harnessed to raise awareness of the Council’s aims and ambitions.
