L’Oréal Professionnel Paris Launch NEW Curls & Coils

L’Oréal Professionnel Paris have launched Curls & Coils, an open to all, complimentary online course which supports all hair professionals with technical and practical training – all delivered by leading industry experts.

Following the recent launch of Total Texture, an online training course that helps you to discover the theory based knowledge for all hair textures, NEW Curls and Coils online training is the next phase in the learning journey. Covering all of the core skills across cutting, colouring, styling and caring for curls and coils, as well as wigs, weaves and braids this technical programme is designed to empower hair professionals and instil confidence in your craft.

 

The new Curls and Coils training comprises of 5 engaging e-learning modules across a variety of disciplines in easy-to-follow videos. Hosted by industry leaders who share their expertise and wealth of experience:

  • Intro to Caring for Curls & Coils: Charlotte Mensah, The Hair Lounge
  • Intro to Styling, Wigs, Weaves & Braiding for Curls & Coils: Abigail Butler, Strictly Xtended
  • Intro to Cutting Coils & Coils: Dexter Dapper Johnson, TONI&GUY
  • Intro to Colouring Curls & Coils: Danielle Louis, Headmasters

 

Intro to Caring for Curls & Coils by Charlotte Mensah, @charlottemensah, The Hair Lounge shares a ‘how to’ on the essentials of washing and caring for Curls (Type 3) and Coils (Type 4). In this module you will learn about identifying the right products for your clients’ hair to keep it in the best condition.

Intro to Styling Curls & Coils by Abigail Butler @msabigailbutler, Strictly Xtended introduces the essentials for styling Curls (Type 3) and Coils (Type 4). Abigail shares her must-haves before leading you through a series of styles including, wash and go, drying with a diffuser, twists, bantu knots and stretching. Embracing and celebrating your clients’ natural texture is at the heart of this module.

Intro to Wigs, Weaves & Braiding for Curls & Coils by Abigail Butler @msabigailbutler, Strictly Xtended covers the basics of how to work with wigs, weaves and braids and considerations when caring for your clients’ hair. Beginning with protective styling and techniques, this course will give you the foundation knowledge to get you started in this area.

Intro to Cutting Coils & Coils by Dexter Dapper Johnson @dexterdapper, TONI&GUY covers an introduction on how to use your essential cutting tools through technique-based learning as well as understanding your equipment and what you should have in your kit. Including both long and short cuts, helping you to cater for your clients’ individual needs.

L’Oréal Professionnel Paris continue to support all hair professionals to have confidence in their craft and to be equipped with all the skills needed to welcome every client. Upon completion of the course, professionals will be able to download a completion certificate and social sticker to share across social media.
