Beauty Guild
Beauty Guild are the biggest UK trade body for the professional beauty industry. They offer accredited training courses at more than 500 venues in the UK, and provide expert insurance cover.

British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology
A leading UK membership organisations and insurance provider for beauty industry professionals, BABTAC campaigns for best practice and high standards, supporting and promoting responsible therapists and businesses, while reinvesting profits to benefit the industry.

British Barbers' Association
The British Barbers’ Association (BBA) is the voice of barbers, male grooming salons and men’s hairdressers, and works with government departments, sector skills councils and trailblazers to shape the future of the industry, education and training.Â

British Fashion Council
The British Fashion Council nurtures, supports and promotes British fashion talent to a global market. They are committed to developing excellence and growth in a sector that is a significant contributor to the British economy.

British Science Association
The British Science Association is a royal charter charity seeking to make science part of everyday life and culture. They run programmes for schools, public and professional audiences including the annual British Science Week campaign.

City & Guilds
City & Guilds works with people and organisations to help them identify the skills they need to thrive. They work with employers and sector stakeholders to raise professional standards, skills and knowledge and together we raise the profile of the hair and beauty industry.

Cosmetic and Perfumery Retailers Association
COPRA is a non-profit membership organization providing a focus for the cosmetics and perfume industry. They hold regular meetings and training courses led by industry experts to benefit members.Â

Cosmetics Cluster UK
Cosmetics Cluster UK is a not-for-profit trade association that facilitates collaboration and partnerships between companies, individuals and organisations and signposts help and resources.

Creative UK
Creative UK is the membership body that unites the creative industries and generates opportunities for innovation to thrive by investing in creative people and businesses.

Department for Business and Trade (DBT)

Fashion Academics Creating Equality (FACE)
Fashion Academics Creating Equality (FACE)Â formed to challenge the lack of Black and Brown academics in the system, which directly impacts the experience of all young creatives but especially Black and Brown students.

Fashion Roundtable

Freelance Hairdresser's Association
FHAÂ was the first trade association for freelance hairdressers and has been instrumental in raising the profile of the sector. Prior to this, those working outside of the traditional salon environment were perceived as unqualified, unregulated and unprofessional.

Federation of Nail Professionals (FNP) is a not-for-profit organisation focused on supporting and raising the standards of practice, education, knowledge and development for nail professionals across the UK.Â

The Fragrance Foundation
The Fragrance Foundation UK is a non-profit educational organisation setting standards of excellence for the fragrance industry in the UK.
The Hairdressing Council
The Hairdressing Council are the only statutory authority in Great Britain for hair and barber professionals. They focus on raising standards in the hairdress industry, lobbying government and giving clients confidence to choose their members as trained professionals.Â

HABIA is a not-for-profit organisation, working with partners across the sector to develop and promote professional standards to ensure client safety and business success.Â

Hair and Beauty Industry Confederation
The Hair and Beauty Industry Confederation (HABIC) is an organisation that works towards supporting and enhancing the continued development of the beauty and hair sector in Ireland.

The Hairdressing and Beauty Suppliers Association
The HBSAÂ advocates and promotes responsible manufacturing, sourcing, distribution, usage and disposal of professional hairdressing and beauty products.
The Health and Beauty Association
The H&BA is a ‘not for profit’ trade association focusing on accelerating industry growth of health, beauty and personal care. Members are suppliers of many of the world’s leading health, beauty and personal care brands.Â

The Perfume Society
The Perfume Society is a subscription organisation for perfume-lovers. It seeks to give everyone access to discover, explore and enjoy the world of fragrance through events, courses and sampling opportunities.

Independent Beauty Association
The Independent Beauty Association (IBA) has been advocating for small businesses for over 45 years. It keeps small and mid-sized cosmetics and personal care companies informed of the emerging laws and regulations that could impact their growth and success.

Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners
JCCP is a ‘self-regulating’ body for the non-surgical aesthetics and hair restoration sector in the UK, with Professional Standards Authority (PSA) recognition and charitable status. Its mission is to improve patient safety and public protection.

National Hair and Beauty Federation
The NHBF is one of the UK’s largest trade body for businesses working in the hair, beauty and barbering industries. It helps members to run successful and profitable businesses by providing advice, specialist support and tailored services.

NATRUE
NATRUE is an international non-profit association whose mission is to protect and promote authentic natural and organic cosmetics for the benefit of consumers worldwide. Its work is divided between advocacy, standardisation and label criteria, and research.Â
