BeautyMatter launches its NEXT Awards, unearthing brands of the future

by | Jul 4, 2023

‘There are a lot of beauty awards out there — but the BeautyMatter NEXT Awards are different,’ said the content platform, upon the launch of 2023’s application round. Here’s how you can get involved, and – hopefully – win…

BeautyMatter’s NEXT Awards are back for a second year, with a mission of unearthing the thinkers, makers, and doers in the global community whose work raises the bar and defines the future.’

Following the success of its inaugural event – where finalists included BYOMA, K18, and Space NK – applications are open for this year’s judging. Open to every business in the beauty ecosystem, the British Beauty Council and BeautyMatter are calling on British brands to submit an application.

With eight category top spots up for grabs – from ‘Person of the Year’ to ‘Visionaries’ – the accolades will be awarded to over 30 brands disrupting the beauty landscape. Whether you are a multinational or emerging brand, retailer, agency, supplier or manufacturer, enter BeautyMatter NEXT to get your product in front of the eyes of an esteemed judging panel.

From Founder and CEO of Fable and Mane, Akash Mehta, to Roseanna Roberts, Global Innovation Insights and Trends Intelligence at Estée Lauder Companies, the panel is made up of unmatched beauty brains.

After rigorous judging, the awards winners will be presented in Los Angeles, at the BeautyMatter NEXT Summit on 26th October 2023 – a ceremony that brings together the best in the beauty business.

On the awards Kelly Kovack, Founder and CEO of BeautyMatter said: ‘With everything we do, our first goal is how do we bring value to our community, and our second objective is finding whitespace either in opportunity or approach.

‘There is no shortage of awards for brands and products in the beauty and wellness space that are done very well. Our goal with the NEXT Awards is to provide a level playing field, a transparent process, and opportunities to honor the achievements of our entire community that represents the industry ecosystem.’
