ZMUni become Patron of British Beauty Council

by | Sep 7, 2021

We spoke with Luna Li, Regulatory Compliance & Marketing Manager at ZMUni Chinese Cosmetic Regulation Compliance Centre to find out more about the brand, what excites them about the British beauty industry, and why they wanted to become a Patron.

As a new Patron, it would be great to find out more about the brand:

Sarah Shu, our Cosmetic Regulatory Compliance Director, founded ZMUni cosmetics in 2018. She is a graduate of the Chinese Academy of Sciences with a master’s degree in lake biology and ecology. She has over 8 years’ experience in the field of cosmetic regulatory compliance and is highly experienced in helping clients with compliance for a wide range of cosmetic products including childrens’ cosmetics, and adult general and special cosmetics.

ZMUni Chinese Cosmetic Regulation Compliance Centre provides market admittance and compliance services for cosmetics, disinfectants, oral care and other products. We also do one-stop compliance solutions for general trade imports.

We have been working with over a thousand customers to successfully bring more than 10,000 different cosmetic products to market. We are particularly proud that our pass rate is 98%, which is way above the industry standard.

We have been helping Chinese, Japanese, Korean cosmetic brands and manufacturers to import to the Chinese market. And we have established a business model, which can complete the whole process of overseas brand incubation, product development, design, production, overseas sales and the import of goods into the Chinese market according to the needs of brand owners.

We realised that a lot of European brands did not enter the Chinese market because of the former requirement for animal testing. The rules have now changed and animal testing is no longer required in all cases. This opens marvellous opportunities for Uk and European companies to enter the Chinese cosmetics market.

Interested in entering the World’s second largest cosmetic market (currently valued at about 70 billion dollars) and taking advantage of the demand for foreign cosmetics, particularly luxury brands? Want to do so quickly and smoothly with a Chinese Company you can trust?

ZMUni will help open the gate for UK cosmetic brands, distributors and manufacturers to enter the Chinese market!

What excites you about the British beauty industry?

Innovation, Imagination, Constant Change, Luxury. These are aspirations for Chinese consumers where demand is strong and growing.

We are delighted to have you on board, why did you want to become a Patron of the British Beauty Council?

ZMUni felt that it was a good way to build our reputation and contacts within the British cosmetics industry and help you to export to China just as we have helped brands from Japan, Korea and Europe.

We have English speaking staff in China, plus a manager based in the UK. Working with ZMUni gives you 24-hour contacts to help solve any problems that arise. We are here to help you expand into a huge, vibrant, fast growing market.

Of course there is more to exporting than regulations. There are many methods that can be used; ZMUni can put you in touch with experts in their field, whichever method you choose. More details of the regulations are on their recorded webinar https://youtu.be/EVb6Rjw1Dc0
