About

A new research piece to help brands understand the role of beauty in the months ahead, whilst shining a light on the up-coming emerging trends.

Many are expecting a significant boom for the beauty industry as non-essential retail and hair and beauty salons re-open, with the added bonus of being allowed to see friends again without exercising! As brands prepare for what is bound to be an unpredictable few months ahead, Hearst have commissioned a new piece of research to understand what the new role of beauty be, whilst revealing the emerging trends highlighted by the research.

The research combines a timely programme of social listening, search analysis of the last 14 months, and a 30+ question survey completed by both a nationally representative sample of 1,000 people and more than 3,000 members of Hearst’s panel. We have explored a series of trends that we expect will shape the industry and taken a fresh look one year on into how consumers attitudes and behaviours towards beauty have evolved.

Please register your details and join our hosts Lee Bailey, Director of Beauty, Jane Kelly, Creative Partnership Director and Ollie Lloyd, Head of Client at Hearst UK on Tuesday April 27th at 11am. Plus at the end, our special guest Millie Kendall MBE, CEO of the British Beauty Council will be joining us for a Q&A, giving you the opportunity to submit any questions that you would like to have answered.
