the indie beauty boom

by | Jun 16, 2018

Indie beauty is set for global expansion and here in the UK, showcasing British independent brands is on the rise. Sarirah Hamid, founder of Pretty Analytics, says we’re on a mission to highlight the talent and innovation on our doorstep.

Much like Etsy, a marketplace for buying from independent makers, retailers focused on exploring and providing a platform to indie brands is growing. Examples include Rare Beauty, A Future Kept, Glow Organic (Brighton) and Wolf & Badger. Most recently, the Indie Beauty Expo have teamed up with Feel Unique, helping the online retailer curate an Indie Beauty edit showcasing brands to their large French and British consumer base. The partnership is set to launch in July.We hope to continue to see the industry challenged through the innovation, concepts and issues highlighted by these brands.

I’m looking forward to IBE coming to London in October 2018.
