Self-Employment in the Personal Care Sector

by | Jul 5, 2021

An issue being discussed more and more in the Personal Care sector is the growth of self-employment and freelance workers, and the gig economy. There are many questions which need answering, including the impact on the future of skills and education, as well as taxation and revenue.

Collectively, organisations within the sector have a wide range of anecdotal evidence which has helped inform discussions to date. However, as interest grows from the Department for Business (BEIS), the Treasury, Parliamentary Groups and Committees and the devolved nations, we need to be able to provide robust data from across all industries within the sector to help inform future discussion.

Whatever your role within the sector, we want to hear from you. This survey has been developed to be sector-wide and we’re asking everyone with careers linked to Personal Care to complete it.

The questions will take no more than 10 minutes to complete and could be invaluable in filling important gaps in our sector’s data.

The survey will close on Monday 12 July.

Thank you in advance for helping us to continue to shine a light on our sector with Government.
