No7 Shows Women are Key to a Post-Covid “SHEcovery”

by | Apr 1, 2021

No7 is today launching its Unstoppable Together campaign with the ‘SHEcovery’ as its priority to support women in the workplace.

Despite them feeling more overworked and anxious in the last 12 months and twice as likely to sacrifice their career to be caregivers for family, female founded start-ups have doubled and the Fortune 500 has more female CEOs than ever before, demonstrating women are key to a post-pandemic recovery. Uniting unstoppable women behind the SHEcovery, No7 is launching a free to access digital hub in partnership with AllBright – a female community created to champion women and to support them in achieving their career goals.

The movement follows a landmark, global study, to understand the impact of Covid-19 on women in the workplace. Despite being disproportionately affected by the pandemic in the workplace women are showing huge resilience in overcoming the challenges of the past year. While almost a third of women feel excited about their career prospects, 1 in 5 women are even considering launching their own business, therefore creating more job opportunities to stabilise the economy.

Over half of women said they would benefit from resources designed to help them in their careers. No7 has therefore partnered with AllBright to create No7 x AllBright SHEcovery Course Collection, giving women free access to bespoke career tools and resources to support them in their working lives. The SHEcovery course will consist of seven courses of talks and worksheets to help women fulfil their potential and challenge workplace stereotypes that hold them back. Easy to access for women across the country, the No7 x AllBright SHEcovery course can be found at https://www.boots.com/no7/no7unstoppabletogether.

“No7’s ground-breaking research shows that women find strength from female friends, colleagues and family members, with 60% saying female friends and colleagues help support and keep them going. No7 and AllBright share a common belief that when women come together to support each other, they have the power to be unstoppable. Together we want to unlock every woman’s inner potential by giving them the tools and confidence to get back to work or launch their own business.”

– AllBright Co-Founder, Anna Jones

To fuel the conversation, No7 has released an original female-produced film that captures the feeling and magnitude of the SHEcession’s impact by not only presenting facts and figures, but through vivid visual representations of women’s stories.

Since its inception 86 years ago, No7 has supported female empowerment, helping women live life on their own terms, the impact of the last 12 months could widen the pay gap even more, and wipe out the progress we have made over the last few decades.  Our SHEcovery campaign is part of No7’s ongoing commitment to support women and help them fulfil their own workplace ambitions.”

– No7’s UK Marketing Director Katie Swift.

To launch the campaign, No7 has teamed up with creator and host of the ‘How to Fail’ podcast and author of Failosophy, Elizabeth Day to discuss how women can create their own SHEcovery. “The past 12 months have been a real challenge for many of us, but I’m optimistic, too, about what this time might have taught us about being more open and resilient.’ says Elizabeth Day. “No7’s SHEcovery campaign aims to support women whose working lives have been adversely affected by the pandemic. I for one am excited to watch the No7 x AllBright courses and am looking forward to You Can Do Hard Things with Sophie Sabbage.”
