International Women’s Day Celebrations

by | Mar 9, 2020

Yesterday was International Women’s Day, Sunday 08 March. It is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.

British Beauty Council’s co-founder and advisory board member, Anna Marie Solowij, participated in Susty Summit an event hosted by Bybi beauty last week. She sat on the ‘Women Making Waves in Climate Change’ panel alongside other inspiring women from OddBox, Fashion Revolution, Olio and Clean Beauty Insiders. The evening was a celebration of international women’s day and the incredible people working hard to tackle the climate crisis.

We would like to thank all the amazing women who sit on our board and have supported the British Beauty Council in its quest to represent the voices, opinions and needs of the British beauty industry. We hope that through the work we do together we can inspire the next generation of Women to drive Beauty industry forward as an inclusive, diverse and supportive industry.
