RecycLeBelle, is a new initiative to help salons dispose of old polish and gel bottles in a more sustainable way. UK company Louella Belle will be launching the scheme in January 2020. This is the first initiative in the industry of its kind.
Any old polish bottles that you may have floating around your salon (or office) can be returned to Louella Belle for recycling. Customers will be able to return any empty bottles (a small amount of residue is acceptable) in a prepaid, eco-friendly envelope to Louella Belle and receive a 15% discount off their next order when they return 4 or more bottles.
The bottles will be collected by a recycling company and sorted into different materials which can then be recycled and reused in the best possible way. Louella Belle is working towards being more mindful towards recycling, their key aim is to make being sustainable as easy as possible for customers and rewarding them for their efforts.
Nail polish bottles can be from any brand not just Louella Belle brands and can include gel bottles, nail polish bottles and cuticle oil bottles. You can get involved with RecycLeBelle and help spread the word using the hashtags #recycLeBelle #recyclewithLB #letsrecycle #letsrecycletogether.
