Once this was complete we handed the definition to Oxford Economics, leaders in global forecasting and quantitative analysis. They set out to value our industry both in terms of contribution to GDP as well as consumer spending and tax contributions. They also looked at our social impact and our influence. Careers and education and what this meant to both the British economy and also the industry itself.
It has revealed that whilst the British beauty industry is a viable contributor to the Britain’s GDP there is also a lot of potential to maximize this.
The British Beauty Council will work to secure a positive future for the industry under the three pillars, reputation, innovation and education.
