How waxing can save lives

Cervical screening can stop cancer before it starts by preventing potentially harmful cells developing, but attendance is at a 20 year low, with 1 in 4 women not attending.

British Beauty Council patron Treatwell have partnered with Public Health England and are supporting their ‘Cervical Screening Saves Lives’ campaign with the launch of the ‘Life Saving Wax’ initiative which uses the trusted relationship between a beautician and their client to encourage more women to talk openly about the importance of cervical screening.
