Hair and Beauty Industry Confederation Ireland (HABIC) Publish Reopening Guidelines

British Beauty Council Affiliate Board Member, Hair and Beauty Industry Confederation Ireland (HABIC) has shared with us their guidance on the re-opening of hairdressers, barbershops, beauty salons and spas in Ireland.
Hairdressers, Beauticians,Barbers and Spas in Ireland re-opened their doors on Monday 29th June to the public since their closure in March.

Working collaboratively with the Barber Society of Ireland, Hairdressing Council of Ireland (IHC), The Irish Hairdressers Federation (IHF), The Irish Spa Association (ISA) and Synergy Hair Group, HABIC produced a set of guidelines for the Hair and Beauty Industry in preparation for returning to work.
These guidelines have been accepted by the Government of Ireland and the Irish Health Standards Authority, Department of Health and National Public Health Emergency Team.

These guidelines discuss steps that hair salons, barbershops, beauty salons and spas should take to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace.
