UK Government’s Plan to Rebuild

by | May 11, 2020

You have probably seen the announcements and read the headlines but for those that want more detail, here is the UK government’s Covid-19 recovery strategy. https://bit.ly/35R9pBB

The earliest date for businesses in the “personal care” sector, most notably hair and beauty salons, will be around the  4th of July, according to the government’s plan, but this date is subject to detailed scientific advice.

At the time of reopening all our businesses and our workforce will need to meet the government’s COVID-19 Secure guidelines. These are likely to be published over the coming days.

The British Beauty Council along with industry trade bodies and organisations have submitted guidelines to the Business Energy and Industrial Strategy Department following a request made last Thursday. These suggested guidelines are intended to inform government of best practices across our sector.
