At Face Value by Pretty Analytics

by | Feb 15, 2019

A survey by online retailer Fragrance Direct has revealed that £133.77 is the average monthly spend on beauty for a woman in the UK. Diving deeper, they said that women are using an average of 12 products a day and the age group 16-25 years are the highest spenders.

Pretty Analytics has seen that for years, there was this trend within digital content creation where bloggers and Youtubers would asses “how much their face was worth” calculating how much the products they use for their makeup routines cost them. Over the last year, we’ve seen a shift emerge where content creators are instead sharing their journey to more minimal beauty routines and reducing the cost of their products. This stems partly from the popularity of “DIY beauty”.

If you’re curious as to the average cost of your beauty product use, try the Face Value calculator produced by Fragrance Direct.
