DESCRIPTION:Day: 4th May\nTime: 14:00 to 15:00\n\n\n\n\nAbout:\n\nThe UK is moving as quickly as possible to ensure that those fleeing Ukraine can find safety in the UK through the Ukraine Family Scheme and Homes for Ukraine. In addition\, the Ukraine Extension Scheme which opens on 3 May will allow Ukrainians already in the UK on temporary visas to extend their leave here.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nUkrainian nationals and their family members\, who are granted a visa under one of these routes\, will be given three years’ leave in the UK\, as well as full access to work\, rent\, study\, and public funds.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease join officials from the Home Office\, Department for Work and Pensions\, Department for Levelling Up\, Housing and Communities\, and the Refugee Employment Network for an explanatory webinar on visa routes for Ukrainian nationals\, how to carry out right to work/rent checks\, and support and guidance for employers and landlords. SUMMARY:The New UK Regime for Goods: Understanding Marking and Labelling
DESCRIPTION:Join the Department for Business\, Energy\, and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) for this webinar covering the labelling requirements for the UKCA marking.\n\nGreat Britain now has its own robust regulatory framework for goods\, and manufacturers need to start using the UKCA marking. The UKCA regime seeks to ensure consumers are protected from unsafe\, and non-compliant goods. We advise that businesses get ready for the new regime as soon as possible to ensure they are compliant by 1 January 2023. This is the final deadline for businesses to get ready\, and there will be no further extension.\n\n\n\n\n  \nThe session will cover the general rules on how to correctly label your product for the GB market under the new regulatory regime. This will include use of the UKCA marking and importer labelling responsibilities as well as easements in place to support building the UKCA marking into the manufacturing process. \n  \nThis event is for businesses who have a role or involvement in the manufacturing or supply of CE/UKCA marked goods onto the GB market and for trade associations and organisations representing sectors which require the CE/UKCA marking. \n  \nThere will be a chance to ask questions at the end. \n  \nPlease note\, Northern Ireland will not be covered in this session – if you want to know about Northern Ireland\, BEIS are running a separate webinar. \n\n  \nClick  to register.
